Fun in the Sun!

Tongue planted firmly in cheek? Great! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the paranormal romantic comedy Under a Vampire Moon by Lynsay Sands.

Carolyn, soon to be divorced from a nasty piece of work, takes a vacay to St. Lucia with her girlfriend. The girlfriend gets sick, so Carolyn finds herself alone and surrounded by honeymooners. The few single men at the resort are way too young for her 42-year-old sensibilities. Enter Marguerite Argeneau-Notte, the matchmaker of the Argeneau family, who recognizes "Caro" as the life-mate of her son, Christian Notte. She arranges to have Christian's rock band come to St. Lucia so that he can meet Caro. Carolyn is skittish about the age difference, however. Thanks to his immortality, 500-year-old Christian looks just 25-30 years old. In order to get the couple to spend time together, Christian's cousin tells Caro that he's gay and that he needs a fake girlfriend for the duration of his stay. Caro is willing to do that for him. The problem is, Caro finds herself falling for Christian. Christian's problem is playing the part of a fake boyfriend when all he wants to do is be her real boyfriend. If you know what I mean. He needs to tell Caro that he's not only not gay, but that he's an immortal. Will she run when she finds out?
Sands played up the sexy rock musician side of Christian in Vampire Moon. Five stars for his broad, hard chest, hot kisses, and shared dreams! Caro is a baby bird with a broken wing who has to be coaxed into loving hands for healing. The wacky Argeneau and Notte clans mean well with their interference but just end up getting poor Christian deeper and deeper into crazy trouble. Add a colorful boat captain who's a rival love interest, a mysterious illness, and an exotic location and you've got fun in the Caribbean sun!

Although Vampire Moon can be read as a standalone book, I highly recommend the entire series. The books are all listed below in proper reading order.

Happy Reading!
