Read LETHAL LIES by Rebecca Zanetti

Rating: 4.5*s

Genre: Romantic Suspense

Audience: Adult

Sensuality: Hot

Length: Novel

This is a spoiler-free review. Therefore, some plot points will be glossed over so they aren't ruined for you.

The Copper River Killer

Heath Jones, one of the genetically enhanced Blood Brothers and a private detective, has a personal stake in the Copper River Killer case. Loretta, an FBI agent he consulted with on the case, is taken by the Killer. He's determined to find her before it's too late.

He's too late.

Anya Best, Loretta's sister, is the real focus of the Killer. He's been taking women who look like her, but he's always disappointed when they aren't her. He tortures and kills them ritualistically.

Setting a Trap

After the death of her sister, Anya feels responsible. She sets herself up as bait. To further enrage the killer, she announces that she's engaged to Heath, who she barely knows. In doing so, she exposes Heath to those from his past who are after HIM.

It's no secret that in this series Sheriff Cobb is after the Blood Brothers. He wants revenge for the death of his brother, whom the brothers killed in self defense. Isobel Madison, who created the brothers in test tubes, wants them for breeding. Cobb and Madison are working together. Madison sends one of her super soldiers after Heath and the brothers.

The brothers stand together, and assist Anya and Heath in drawing out the killer. But time is running out. They're exposed and need to run. And it's time for the Killer to take another woman.

Suspense and Surprise

LETHAL LIES is full of suspense and mystery. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. A few will guess the identity of the Killer, but very few will put together all the pieces of the puzzle. Zanetti's plot is brilliant.

The Brothers

For those of you who read DEADLY SILENCE, we get to see a lot of Ryker and Zara in this book. The youngest brother, Denver, is sliding down hill. Your heart will ache for him.

I highly recommend LETHAL LIES. If you haven't started this series, then I suggest you start with the excellent Sin Brothers series, which leads into the Blood Brothers. The first book is FORGOTTEN SINS.
